We will diagnose and test your system, giving you a full verbal report of both the problem and the remedy. We will supply a quote of the cost to you and an approximate time schedule to get your system back up and running. If you then decide to have the work done by us then the diagnostics charge is discounted from our labor charge as long as the work is scheduled within 30 days. * Laptop internal diagnostics from $65.

We can re-load your computer operating system software

If your computer hard-drive has suffered a complete fail or you have replaced your drive then we will re-set your operating system and install all the necessary drivers to ensure your system functions correctly. We will need to have the Operating System software license -- usually located on your PC case side. Some older systems running Microsoft Windows 95 / 98 / ME may incur an additional cost if the system drivers have to be located from the internet.

Service: from $65

Removal of accumulated system files, viruses, or spyware

Our standard service includes removal of all temp files and un-used programs and program files including those stored in the registry. This frees up space in your immediate memory and storage and helps speed the computer up. Remove all virus and spy-ware -- viruses and spy-ware slow down your system and allow others to see information that may be private and personal. We remove all this and install our recommended choice of anti-virus and anti-spyware programs to prevent this happening in the future. Update your computer with the latest Microsoft security and software updates. We will remove all dust from the inside of your system. Also, we will recommend any upgrades you may require i.e. additional memory etc.

Full Service: from $100

Addresses severe system or software malfunctions

This level of service is usually required for computers with severe software problems and involves removing the actual hard drive from the system, perform diagnostic scans on one of our test bed units to remove the problems and correct the operating system. A full service also includes all the items in our basic service. Your system will have our recommended anti-virus and anti-spyware programs installed and will update regularly for free.

We carry out a great deal of specialist and basic repairs including laptop jack repairs and screen replacements for laptops. Some can be done while you wait, such as a power supply replacement or a memory upgrade. Other work such as fine soldering and software recovery may take up to seven (7) days. We try to get all services complete within 24 hours, whenever possible. Please note we never fit any parts without your express consent and always return to you the faulty part we have replaced; you may either take it home or let us dispose of it. For home or office visits please contact us for a quote. Remember, it will always be more economical for you to bring the system to us for repair, however for those who cannot we do have a mobile repair system. Home / office repairs can be arranged. Fees for home visits start from $75 for the first hour then charged at either $75 dollars per hour or 15 minute increments of $20.
